The Stuart Turner range of water pumps are built to the highest standards and are designed to run cost efficiently 24 hours a day with the minimal amount of maintenance. With flow outputs from 400 litres per hour to 24,000 litres per hour, the range can provide the right pump for the smallest of displays to spectacular waterfalls and fountains.
This 230 volt, 320 watt, Supervort 550A 'dirty water' pond pump, has a flow rate of 1703 gallons (7740 litres) per hour and a maximum lift of 16' 5" (5.1 Metres).
The pump has 33' (10 Metres) of cable, the water outlet is is a 1 ¼” BSP stepped hose connector accepting either 1 ½”, 1 ¼” or 1” (40mm, 32mm, 25mm) hose pipe. The dimensions of the pump are 160mm x 140mm x 320mm and it weighs 4.5 Kg.
The pump, which will make a spectacular fountain or waterfall display comes complete with a fitted float switch to give protection against the pump running dry in low water levels. The pumps vortex impeller design means it has the capacity to handle semi-solids up to 20mm diameter.
